I have posted the score for my most recent chamber composition, Successions, to my scores page. Successions was written for the Bechtler Ensemble. It is set for premiere at the Getty’s Center for the Arts in Rock Hill, SC USA on May 21, 2017 @ 2:00 p.m. A second performance will take place at the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art in Charlotte, NC USA at 6:00 p.m. on the same day. A third performance will take place at Queens University in Charlotte, NC on May 22. Successions was written for the Bechtler Ensemble and the Charlotte Composers Forum. It was inspired by Jean Tinguely’s kinetic sculpture titled Santana (Sanskrit for generations or succession or family). I invite my Charlotte area friends to attend one or more of the performances. The Bechtler Ensemble features some of the best players around the Charlotte region and it promises to be an excellent concert.
