video of Alhambra Tiles posted

Alhambra Tiles, my trio for flute, horn in F, and piano was performed on September 22, 2019 as part of the Providence Chamber Music Series in Charlotte, NC USA. The performance was expertly executed and an outstanding interpretation of my music. I have posted a video of the live performance on my Video page.

The performance features Amy Orsinger Whitehead – flute, Christopher Griffin – French horn, and Tomoko Deguchi – piano. Alhambra Tiles was inspired by my visit to Alhambra Palace in Granada, Spain. The history of the palace dates back as far 9th century, however, it was during the 14th century that Yusuf I and Mohammed V were responsible for most of the construction of the palace as it stands today .

Another recording is available on my Audio page that also features Amy Orsinger Whitehead and Tomoko Deguchi with Bill Tyler on horn. The score can be viewed or download on my Scores page.

The performance was accompanied by a slide show of images of Alhambra Palace taken during my visit there. That is why you will see me just off stage, I am advancing the slide show.

I hope you enjoy this  performance of Alhambra Tiles.
