My latest string quartet “After Sol LeWitt: Wall Drawing #995” will be premiered by the Bechtler Ensemble on April 22, 2023 as part of the Boom! Fringe festival in Charlotte, NC. “After Sol LeWitt: Wall Drawing #995” was commissioned by the Bechtler Ensemble as a reaction to a wall drawing by the same name by Sol LeWitt that is currently on exhibit at the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art in Charlotte. The concert will feature quartets by four other Charlotte based composers also in reaction to the same work of art. The program will be repeated in June, 2023 at the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art as part of an exhibit of the art of Sol LeWitt. Watch for postings as that concert draws near.
