My allocation of the Spellbound CDs arrived today (the CD of orchestral works which includes my composition Torque). The packaging looks great and the enhanced CD is a really cool idea (the CD includes scores, bios, program notes, etc.). I am thankful to everyone who made this possible, Alan Yamamoto who commissioned Torque and conducted the premiere with the Charlotte Civic Orchestra, Robert Ian Winstin who arranged and conducted the recording session with the Kiev Philharmonic, ALL of the musicians who have performed and recoded Torque, the recording engineers and support staff, the good folks at both ERM and Parma, and the good people at Winthrop University who have supported this project from start to finish.
