My latest collaborative work, The Space Between, is now complete and awaiting premiere in Charlotte in January (details to follow soon). The Space Between was a collaboration with choreographer Sarah Council, Mark Lewis (music), and I supplied live computer processing. It was an unusual work flow as Sarah created the dance first, then Mark composed the piano music based on the movement. I created the live computer processing using Max (audio and DSPÂ programming environment). We plan to perform the music live for the first performance then make a fixed media version of the music for future performances. Look for a video of the performance some time in January 2018.
