My latest chamber music composition, Successions, is set for premiere plus two additional performances on May 21 and 22 2017 in the Charlotte region. See previous posts for details. It features interviews and in-studio performances of excerpts from Successions plus other new works by Leonard Mark Lewis, Craig, Bove, Zach Zubow, and John Allrmeier. Cellist and Bechtler Ensemble founder, Tanja Bechtler is also featured.
Successions, scored for flute, marimba, guitar, cello, and bass, was written for the 2017 Charlotte Composers Forum and the Bechtler Ensemble. It is based on Jean Tinguely’s kinetic sculpture titled Santana.
