Rehearsals started today for Momentum. Things are coming together very well for a first rehearsal. I also saw Val Ifill’s choreography for the first time, a solo female dancer enters from the audience and works her way onto the stage and dances beneath the video screen overhead. Very nicely done. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to write for such talented players and to work with such wonderful choreographers and dancers. I have not seen the video component yet, but I am sure Seth Rouser will come up with something stunning. More soon. We plan to shoot a video of the performance, so look for it to be posted sometime around the end of the month.
