My composition Reflections and Lore is scheduled of performance as part of the Providence Chamber Music Series in Charlotte, NC on February 7, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. The performance will feature some of the best Charlotte based musicians including several members of the Charlotte Symphony. Reflections and Lore was composed in late 2014 for the combined forces of the Bechtler Ensemble and the Out of Bounds Ensemble. It was premiered in January 2015 at the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art in Charlotte, NC. All works on that concert were written in reaction to the Firebird sculpture which is permanently installed at the entrance to the Bechtler Museum.
