My latest composition, Reflections and Lore, was premiered at the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art in Charlotte, NC on January 25, 2015. The performance took place amid an exhibit highlighting the Firebird statue and the career and work of Niki de Saint Phalle. What an amazing place and way to present new music. The concert featured four new works based on the Firebird which is permanently installed at the museum entrance. It was sold out and the performers received a standing ovation. We presented an encore performance at Winthrop University on February 1. I was thrilled to be part of this event and I am looking forward to future collaborations with the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art, the Bechtler Ensemble, and the Out of Bounds Ensemble.
