I have added a live recording of a performance of Fantasy for Two Pianos to my Audio page. It is included in the ‘chamber music’ player, scroll to the bottom to access the sound file. The performance took place a few years ago and features the Bradner-Deguchi Piano Duo. It was part of a recital the duo presented at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC. They really captured the subtle and not so subtle aspects of the music, including heavy metal, post-minimalist, and Chopin references. They really rocked the ending. Fantasy for Two Pianos was written during my residency at the Aaron Copland House in 2005. The next scheduled performance of the piece will be by pianists Will Fried and Tomoko Deguchi at recitals at Davidson College and Winthrop University scheduled for February 2018.
