I have posted a low resolution video of Fioretti (Little Flowers) to my VIDEO page. Fioretti was a collaboration between myself, Phil Moody (Photographer and visual artist), Mark Lewis (composer), and Gerry Derkesen (visual/internet artist). The vocal melody heard in the video was composed by Mark Lewis and sung by Brianna Valencia. The text is by poet Siegfried Sassoon. The original presentation of Fioretti used two large screens with audio and was presented outdoors. It was more of an installation than a performance and the video really does not do justice to the experience of seeing and hearing the piece outdoors projected on two large screens (built by Phil Moody). I hope to present this piece in installation settings in the future.
