My composition for two pianos, Fantasy for Two Pianos, will be performed twice in February by the Deguchi – Fried piano duo. The first performance will take place on February 6 at 4:00 p.m. in Barnes Recital Hall on the Campus of Winthrop University, Rock Hill, SC. The second will take place one week later, at 3 p.m. on the campus of Davidson College in Davidson NC. I invite all of my friends in the Charlotte region to attend. Also included on both concerts is John Adams’ Hallelujah Junction and the two piano version of Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring (featuring Adam Snow on percussion for the Winthrop performance only).
