I have posted my latest collaboration with visual artist Seth Rouser to my Video page. Seth has created a wonderful video component to my electroacoustic work Anacoustic Zones. Anacoustic Zones was originally written for the Florida Electroacoustic Music Festival. It is a stereo digital audio work that features a single sound source modified by passing through metaphorical anacoustic zones, all FFT-based transformations. See the video page for details. Seth’s video really captures the spirit of the music… floating through the upper atmosphere and modifying the visual source material (mostly clouds) in a variety of ways that are analogous to my audio transformations.
